Perfect Tax Relief, Inc. Privacy Policy
Last Updated — October 2026
Perfect Tax Relief, Inc. (“PTR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), 15233 Ventura Blvd., Suite 500, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403, respects your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit our website or related PTR forms, respond to advertising, communicate with us, request a consultation, become a client, or otherwise interact with us.
Tax return information is subject to additional federal protections, including Internal Revenue Code Section 7216 and applicable Treasury regulations. This Policy does not substitute for a separate taxpayer consent when federal law requires one.
1. Information We Collect
- Contact information: name, telephone, email, mailing address, state, and communication preferences.
- Inquiry/qualification information: approximate tax debt, tax years, income, employment, occupation, home ownership, age/date of birth, filing status, and lien/levy/garnishment information.
- After engagement: information reasonably needed to provide services, potentially including SSN/TIN, tax returns, IRS/state transcripts and notices, financial/bank records, income/payroll records, payment information, and case documents.
- Website/advertising information: IP address, browser/device information, approximate IP-derived location, pages viewed, referral source, cookie/advertising identifiers, and ad/site interactions.
- Communications supplied through forms, questionnaires, email, text, calls, consultations, and other contacts. Calls may be recorded after applicable notice.
PTR does not request Social Security numbers, tax returns, IRS transcripts, or bank statements through its initial public advertising lead form. Such sensitive records are collected after engagement when needed.
2. Sources
Information may come directly from you and from advertising platforms, PTR online forms, purchased-lead providers, live-transfer providers, referrals, organic website traffic, direct mail, television/radio campaigns, and other sources through which you request information.
3. Uses
- Respond to inquiries, provide consultations, assess needs, and communicate.
- Provide tax resolution, representation, preparation, compliance, monitoring, and related services.
- Maintain records, process payments/documents, obtain signatures, and administer relationships.
- Make permitted telephone, email, and text communications.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve PTR systems/services.
- Measure advertising, attribute leads/conversions, prevent duplicate/fraudulent leads, retarget interested persons, and create/use advertising audiences.
- Comply with legal, tax, professional, accounting, security, regulatory, and recordkeeping duties.
4. Advertising and Audience Matching
PTR may use Google, Meta/Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Everflow, and similar advertising/analytics technologies, including cookies, pixels, tags, and conversion tools.
PTR may provide advertising platforms with identifiers such as email addresses or telephone numbers for matching, retargeting, Custom Audiences, Lookalike/Similar Audiences, and conversion measurement, and may report that an advertising lead became a client.
PTR’s current client audience practice concerns clients who signed up for tax resolution services. PTR does not select audiences based on information contained in a tax return and does not provide tax returns, tax-return information, SSNs, IRS transcripts, tax-debt details, or other tax-case information to advertising platforms.
PTR does not sell personal information to data brokers or third parties for monetary payment. Under some state laws, advertising disclosures may nevertheless constitute “sharing,” “sale,” or targeted advertising. Applicable opt-out choices are described below.
5. Tax Return Information
PTR also provides tax preparation. PTR does not provide tax-return information to advertising platforms or use information contained in a tax return to select a client for unrelated marketing. Additional services may be discussed based on information clients provide during interviews or conversations. Where §7216 or other law requires separate taxpayer consent, PTR will obtain it.
6. Service Providers and Disclosures
PTR may disclose information as reasonably necessary to case-management/tax-practice and tax-preparation providers; communications/call-recording providers; payment processors; document/signature services; cloud/productivity/IT providers; advertising/analytics/attribution providers; newsletter providers; professional advisers/security providers; authorities where required or permitted; successors in business transactions; or persons you direct.
Current systems may include IRSLogics, Google Workspace/Gmail/Cloud, TaxProLink, PitBullTax, Authorize.net, Direct Connect, Nitro PDF, Vonage, Kall8, Microsoft OneDrive, GoHighLevel, Practice Panda, Everflow, NordLayer, and approved AI/business technology. PTR does not currently transfer leads to another tax company, attorney, lender, insurer, or credit company.
7. AI
PTR currently prohibits personnel from entering identifiable client information or confidential client records into general-purpose AI accounts. Future secured enterprise AI use involving client information requires security, contractual, privacy, confidentiality, and tax-information review.
8. Calls and Texts
PTR may record sales and client-service calls after applicable notice; IRS calls are excluded from ordinary recording. Approved systems may transcribe/analyze recordings for quality, training, documentation, and service improvement.
PTR uses GoHighLevel for consenting prospects and may use AI-generated voice and automated dialing. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchase. Under PTR’s current chosen policy, a prospect who does not provide marketing consent will not receive PTR marketing follow-up. PTR maintains an internal Do-Not-Call list.
9. Retention
PTR generally retains non-client leads for five years after last meaningful interaction; former-client case files for seven years after closure; tax returns/tax records for six years; and call recordings and routine text records for one year. Legal holds, audits, investigations, disputes, or overriding legal obligations may extend a period.
10. Security
PTR safeguards include MFA where applicable, encryption, centrally managed security controls, mandatory NordLayer VPN use for remote employees, restricted physical access, access controls, training, and a Written Information Security Plan.
11. Privacy Choices
Depending on applicable law, consumers may have rights to access, information, correction, deletion, portability, or opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. PTR also provides a mechanism to request removal from PTR-controlled targeted-advertising/audience-matching lists.
